Mr. Freeze

My skills as a comic artist up until now have been competent but nothing really remarkable, so I'm making attempts to refine my all around abilities. These include pencilling, inking, coloring, and lettering.

This was pencilled on a piece of Bristol, then scanned and the rest was done in Photoshop. I feel my pencilling is getting better, my inks are still my best, and I still have a ways to go before I'm a good colorist.

With so many people re-envisioning Batman characters, I felt I'd try an attempt at my vision of Mr. Freeze. Since his body temperature is below zero and he's constantly in that insulated freeze suit, I felt he would look something like a frostbite victim, complete with blackened patches of skin.
