the dolphins

last week my sister finally got married to her long time boyfriend, and for their present rather than get them a pancake mixer or some such nonsense, i thought i'd make them something more personal. my sister works in marine biology in Salem, and her new husband works in environmental protection. as a result, dolphins seemed most appropriate.

to be honest, i hadn't painted in a while so having to paint something so...NICE seemed out of place to me. i felt i had to get it out of my system so i've been doing weird paintings all week since. got one posted (see Bloody Virgin) and two more coming, so stay tuned.
